What the extension reads

While a bookmaker page is open, the extension watches that page's network replies inside your browser to recognise the moment a bet is accepted. It also keeps recent replies in memory for a short time to look up team and market names.

It runs on every site but stays inactive until a page's traffic looks like a sportsbook. On other sites nothing is read, kept or sent.

What is stored

For each accepted bet: bookmaker, the bookmaker's bet id, time, stake, odds, potential payout, selections with event, market, pick and kickoff, and the raw request and reply that carried them. Passwords, tokens, session ids, usernames, email addresses, phone numbers, balances and wallet details are removed before storage.

Your account: the email address you sign in with.

Where it is stored

In your browser's extension storage, and, when you are signed in, in the Placed database tied to your account. Rows are protected so that only your login can read or change them.

What is never done

The extension never places, changes or cancels bets, never signs in to a bookmaker for you, and never sends data to anyone but Placed. Bookmaker logos shown in the ledger are loaded from the bookmaker's own site without a referrer.

Your control

You can delete any bet from the ledger, clear the extension's local copies from its popup, and sign out at any time. Account deletion and full export are available on request until the self-service versions ship.
